On behalf of all free women, I would like to write a few words. The time has come for this country to recognize the significance of the role we play in our society. Not only do we look after our husbands and children, but we also actually work. And this work benefits to the country and its economy. It is high time for our politicians to give us the right we have been demanding for years now. They are the ones who refuse us the right to be part and parcel of the decision-making process. As equal citizens we deserve the right to vote, and we demand the right to be on an equal footing with men. When we are granted what some consider a privilege, women will be ready to focus on the war men are fighting again.
